Our Mission

At Artemis Esthetics & Wellness, our mission with Pink Boots & Country Roots is to raise funds and awareness to support the local Peoria community of cancer patients, with a dedicated focus on those battling breast cancer. This cause is deeply personal to Lindsey Swischuk, owner of Artemis, who has faced her own breast cancer journey. Her experience has shaped a lasting commitment to ensuring that others fighting this disease have access to the care, resources, and support they need to move forward with strength and confidence.

In 2025, Pink Boots & Country Roots came to life as an inaugural event that exceeded expectations and demonstrated the power of music, community, and generosity coming together for a shared purpose. The overwhelming support confirmed what we believed from the beginning—that when our community rallies together, meaningful impact follows. We are excited to build on this momentum as we look ahead to 2026 and all future events, continuing to grow our reach and deepen our impact.

Pink Boots & Country Roots raises vital funds that go directly to local breast cancer patients through the OSF Cancer Institute Breast Cancer Supportive Services Fund. This fund benefits individuals in the Peoria area who are undergoing treatment, ensuring that the resources raised stay close to home and directly support those who need it most.

At Artemis Esthetics & Wellness, we are committed to helping individuals feel their best throughout their cancer journey. Artemis offers services designed to support patients from skincare to wellness treatments that help maintain confidence and well-being during and after treatment. Having personally navigated the challenges of cancer, Lindsey understands firsthand the importance of self-care as part of healing, and this understanding continues to guide Artemis’ mission to help patients feel strong, rejuvenated, and empowered.

Through Pink Boots & Country Roots, we strive to support both immediate needs such as transportation, medical expenses, and daily living support as well as longer-term wellness services like those offered by Artemis.
